*Kajla jana Kalyan Samity is Registered NGO under Government of India Societies of Registration Act XXI of 1860 No: S/2626 of 1956 - 1957 at Calcutta.
* The Organization is also registered under Foreign Contribuion Regulation Act 1975, Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India No: 1 4 7 0 4 0 1 1 1
* Donation Made to Kajla Jana Kalyan Samity shall qualify for deduction u/s.80G of IT Act, 1961 (Government of India)
* The organization is audited by Certified Chattered Accountants.

VISION: To build a society free from exploitation, injustice, pollution. The society would be self-sufficient and people would live in peace irrespective of caste, colour creed and race.

MISSION: To attain Gram Swaraj (Village Self reliance) through integrated and sustainable development by motivating, developing awareness and ensuring full participation of the target villages.

OBJECTIVE: To fulfill the above mission & vision, and keeping in mind the condition KJKS has set the following objectives----

* To form different team/organization of the different poor people to initiate comprehensive
development action programs leading to self-reliance.
*To promote education among the villagers, to create awareness, motivating them to gain strength to
fight against Ignorance, superstition, poverty, exploitation, discrimination, and deprivation.
*To facilitate the empowerment of the rural women enabling them participate in decision-making
process of the family as well as at all levels of society for ensuring gender justice.
* To do networking, lobbing, advocacy at local, district, state as well as national level on important
burning issues for fulfilling basic needs of the poor people through various service of Government.
* To promote ecological farming and ecological education for protecting ecology from pollution.
* To develop leadership quality among the villagers especially poor, marginalized, and capacitated
them to initiate action towards development for sustainable livelihood.
* To create several action programs for ensuring child rights.
