FROM THE DESK OF SECRETARY

KJKS started in the year 1945 had to overcome much adversities and unfavourable situation on the journey of 59 years. It has played a significant role in developmental interventions in Purba Medinipur.
Since beginning the organization is identified as a common platform of the people of this area. Now days it is incorporated in the minds of the people as a centre which works for the all-round development of the people. The organization has adopted several activities to enhance the quality of life of the poor people as well as to make them aware of the logic based on science. It is a matter of pleasure to tell that the organization takes a leading role to make the people aware of their rights. KJKS is now working in the sectors like education, health, micro finance, sustainable agriculture, child labor, sports and cultural in two hundred villages of ten blocks under Purba Medinipur district. The organization feels proud to have 250 workers who have dedicated themselves for the benefit of the poor and distressed people.
Analysing the impact of our activities, we observe that we have achieved great success in areas like women’s group formation, agriculture, education, health, environment, formation of children and teen’s group etc.

Villagers too supported by contributing in so many ways and encouraging always taking up any new venture. We are indebted to them and expect to receive constant support and guidance in future in our mission.
